Bold, Progressive, Visionary—we’re not afraid to think big here at Urban Synergy, the Downtown Development Specialists.
Our founders John and Angela Vachon took a leap of faith with the notion that cities can change for the better--not by expanding over every square inch of available soil, but by embracing Smart Growth principles and energizing at the core--Downtown.
They believe that an historical building’s master craftsmanship—solid hardwood beams, concrete or hardwood floors, brick walls—should be showcased, not covered in metal, plaster or drywall. They also believe that staying on the cutting edge of design styles and techniques and using top-quality materials is more important than cutting corners to save a buck and, ultimately, creating an inferior building.
New projects we're especially excited about: 9 new Urban Lofts in 217 Broad Street (the old Sterchi's Building), and BANQ, our new banquet hall and gathering space on the second floor of the First National Bank Building. Pre-lease the Lofts NOW!! Book BANQ today!!
From encouraging the Downtown Sculpture Walk and roundabouts with brick stamping to initiating a Downtown Signage Program and supporting the Twilight Alive Concert Series, Urban Synergy wants the people of Kingsport—and citizens we work with in any other metropolitan project—to take pride in the place where they live and work.
You’re about to be a vital, dynamic part of the conversation that ultimately decides what this city—or any city—can be when we put our minds to it. So what’s on your mind?
